The Breckenridge Festival of Film
Welcome to the Breckenridge Festival of Film. The Festival is held in beautiful Breckenridge Colorado the 2nd weekend in June of each year. For over a quarter century BFF has celebrated the art of filmmaking. Each spring a unique and varied array of independent films, premieres, receptions, educational programs and retrospectives honoring featured guests takes place high in the Colorado Rockies. The Breckenridge Festival of Film was established in 1981, making it one of the oldest film festivals in the country. It is a 501(c)(3), private, non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Funding for the Festival comes from local public and private grants, sponsorships, fundraising events, individual contributions, in-kind assistance, and revenue from tickets and merchandise. More than 150 individual volunteers, four local theaters and other venues are involved in this annual event.
